Get kids to quit asking for stuff!

Kids are notorious for asking for things when you take them shopping. But why wouldn’t they ask? It’s worth a shot, right?! Most parents fear the dreaded ASK for multiple reasons. 1) They don’t want a scene if they tell their child no. 2) It makes the trip take longer because your kid is now shopping for what they want once you’ve said yes. 3) It can be expensive! 4) You are spending money on extra candy or crap that no ones needs. When the ASK becomes as issue you may also avoid taking your kids places, which lessens your interactions and teaching moments with them.
